Purchase: Purchased 2 dozen of these at Golf Galaxy for $19.99/dozen to play fall golf with. These were originally $29.99/dozen, so I couldn't resist. I'm going back for more!!! Pros: This ball is SO long it's crazy! I have played the new Nike One Black, and I had a tough time distinguishing this ball from the Black. I think the TA2 LNG actually feels a little softer off the irons. Cover was very durable. Played entire 18 with one ball and it only had faint scuffs from wedges, hardly noticeable. They do spin nicely off the short irons. More of a Pro V1x type spin. The best part about these balls is how straight they fly. I played in 20+ MPH winds today and they were hardly affected! Cons: As usual, Nike is taking a perfectly good product off the market way too early. If stores can sell these for $19.99 on closeout, why couldn't they sell them for say $24.99 and keep them on the market?? I'd buy these in a heartbeat over NXT's/NXT tours which are the same price. Quality: As I stated above, these are very durable. Minimal scuffing from short irons/ wedges. Review Summary: I bought these to play fall golf with due to the reasonable closeout prices, but I'm gonna purchase a couple dozen more for next spring while they're still available. This ball does so many things well. Spins into the green. Flies straight. Holds up to wedges. Distance is knock your socks off long! Get them while you still can, as I checked Nike's web site and they've already taken them off their balls product listing!

Purchase: Austad's Golf. $29.99/dozen. I had tried the TA2 SPN, which almost spun too much. Wanted to try these on for size to compare. Pros: The TA2 series are great performing golf balls. Soft feel, urethane cover for spin, super fast core launches the ball fast and high. The LNG launches a little higher than the SPN, and there is noticeably less spin off the driver. = Straighter drives= Happy me. The SPN balls spin a ton, almost too much. The LNG is a better compromise. It has more of a tendency to hit and hold where it lands, rather than spinning back. Helped a lot in the softer conditions I usually play in. Cons: Nothing really. Great ball. Quality: Quality is first rate. They don't scuff. Very durable. Bright white cover. Nice soft cover for feel around the green. Review Summary: A great ball for performance and playability. They don't cost an arm & a leg, but do what the more expensive balls do. No wonder there are a bunch of tour players using these.
