Purchase: My father in law paid full price for his and let me tee off with it on a few holes. It was solid, and forgiving. My other driver was a no-name bargain over-size. on that same round face, which had cracked across the top from being clinked against by my other clubs too much on a road trip, finally broke during that round. I needed a new driver. I went to Play-it-Again Sports in Chicago (used sporting goods store) and they had a few of these Nike's for sale..only slightly used - but for 250.00 which was way above the budget my wife had set - so I was on my way to the counter with a very nice Tayor Made when the guy came over to the clerk who was helping me and said that he'd just received a fax that all the Nike Drivers were to be marked down to 100.00 Dollars. I practially dropped the Taylor Made (no disrespect intended) and grabbed up the least superficailly blemished Nike Driver they had and paid before before they could correct what I was sure was communication error between stores. SO - top that...it has one little nick on top where some paint is barely scratched adn I didn't get the nice head-cover that my father-law-has...but I got it for 100.00 plus tax.
Pros: Everything. I'm not a good golfer. I'm just coming into my second season and slowly edging toward breaking 100. (112-108 last two rounds) I've been to the driving range once, and where I normally had to rip it, (I'm a strong guy) to get any respectable distance, I now swing through easy and can use my muscle tension to keep my swing online and the ball in the fareway. (well...most of the time)
Cons: I would say the price, but the Gods gave me a break so I can't anything bad about it yet. I don't expect I'll have anything bad to say about after a round or two with it either.
Quality: It's got the low kick graphite shaft, and a 10.5 degree loft. I used to play with a 9.5 so the extra angle istransformed my worm burners into low flying bird thwackers.

Review Summary: I suck at Golf, I suck at Golf, I suck at Golf, but I love Golf. The driver has made my own assesment of my game quite a bit better than it was before. 99 is in my sights - this club will be the first eighteen steps (hopefully only one swing per tee off) toward that goal. I did invest in a head cover, by the way - all the veterens out there that have been shaking their heads since the part about my old driver breaking, and then panicking when I noted that my Nike driver didn't come with one can relax. Pray to the golf gods that I can get a forged iron set to match this amazing club for, I don't know...what's fair?...150.00 bucks?
