On 2003-06-24, Dave rated this Nike 450cc Titanium Driver a 4...(1626)

Purchase: Purchased at a local golf shop. Paid $300. Bought the club just to satisfy an itch to get a new toy. Was using a Taylor Made 360cc.
Pros: The price was very attractive for a new product. TM 580's still retail locally around $275-$300. As far as playability, club swings well. Size of the head needs a little time to get used to. With the big head, sweet spot is obviously larger. Off center hits corrected and stayed out of big trouble. Fun to hit.
Cons: Nothing really to dislike.
Quality: Quality and construction appeared to be top-notch.

Review Summary: For a new product, especially a Titanium Driver from a reputable manufacturer, the price is very attractive. The quality and playablity makes it a good value for anyone looking to upgrade their big stick.
