Purchase: Purchaced the Nike Ignite 460cc driver with the Fujikara stiff flex shaft from Golfetail on ebay for $280. Looked in Golfsmith, Dick's Sproting Goods, home pro shops, and online for better deals, but could not find any for this price. Even after hitting a bucket of balls and playing a round, I still feel these name brand clubs are over priced. But I like this one.
Pros: I read alot of the reviews and forums about the Ignite. More good than bad. I tried it out at Golfsmith. Hit same distance with as my look alike steel head & shaft but with less swing effort. Sounds good for the for those killer par 4&5 finishing holes on the hot days in July and August. After hitting the Ignite on the range I saw very quickly that you don't want to grip & rip the thing. I didn't have to due to the 10-30 yards gained, straight as an arrow. That's what I'm talking about. So I played form the back tees with encourageing results. It hit past the infamous tree on the right that everyone wants to get past on the par 5. It even hit to the creek that everyone can't get to. Easy to hit firmly with great results. I don't mind the large head (literaly twice as big as my old drver). If it is more forgiving, then more power to me, I say. I don't hit the draw or fade thing. I just want it to go straight every time. I didn't want all those plugs, screws, inserts, and carbon fiber is still new. The way Nike built the head reminds me of plywood construction for you home. Light weight, strong and proven time and time again. The stock grip even has thumb reminder pad, if you want to use it. I love the club a lot.
Cons: Nothing so far. It will slice big time if I try to grip & rip. Other than that nothing.
Quality: Wrapped for shipping very well. Took awhile to unwrap. Every thing look good.
Review Summary: Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet club. If in the market, check it out. Tiger's winning, so the price may go up.
