Details: 10.5 degree with a regular stiffness shaft
Purchase: I bought it from TGW.com ($199) after swinging multiple clubs at Golf Galaxy. I was hitting a 9.5 Hi-Bore with a stiff UST shaft. Once I slowed down my swing, the stiffness of the shaft was pushing everything right. Pros: It has a real nice feel when swinging it. The face is a little taller than the Cleveland, instilling a bit more confidence in my swing. I was hitting boomerangs before, but now hit a very controlable fade. The sound really grabs some attention. I think it sounds a bit like an aluminum bat. It doesn't bother me though. Cons: Stock grips are always just o.k. That's an easy fix though. There's not much else I would change. It's certainly not a very flashy driver, but I let my drives make up for the lack of style. Quality: The quality is top notch. Nike has come a long way since their beginning. I own a set of their irons also. That was another great buy. I hope to get the SQ fairway woods at the end of the season when they drop in price a little more. Review Summary: Overall I'm completely satisfied with my new toy. I use to fear pulling my driver out on any hole...now I can't wait. When you're trying some new drivers give this one a whirl. I almost didn't hit this one, and that would have been a huge mistake.

Details: Regular nike grip and stiff mitsubishi diamana shaft. - 10.5*
Purchase: I got this from the ESPN Golf School in a package with other nike clubs(oz T100 and the 60* SV wedge). I payed $400. Pros: I love everything about this club. It has added about 35 yards to my drives, while keeping them consistent. Also, I got the 10.5* loft which has helped my slice dramatically. Just the other day I made my first Par 4 green in 1, and I owe it all to this driver. Cons: Nothing, besides the ugly headcover. Quality: The quality of this club is amazing. Nike really built a gem. But if Woods uses it wouldn't it have to be? Review Summary: This is the best driver I have ever owned, and if you having driving troubles you should consider purchasing this also. Details: WOW. I just got back from a 'demo days' at the local pro shop and the nike driver is great! I tried alot of drivers and nike was my best choice. I hit callaways X 460 and just the noise from a solid hit was so loud that there was no way i was buying that, and the new Fusion felt very odd to me. Plus i couldnt hit those drivers very well. I hit the new titelist 905 which felt good but couldnt control the ball as well. Hit the cobra whatever driver, boy theres a reason why you dont see alot of people playing those clubs, yuck. All in all i increased my launch angle and yardage (about 20 yards) and decreased my spin rate (about 1200 rpm's). So, all in all i bought the nike driver and i am VERY PLEASED!!! I would tell everyone to buy this club. A+
Purchase: I bought it off of greatgolfdeals.com for $304.99 (that is with exotic shaft) Pros: Feel, shaft is light, increase of ball speed Cons: Nothing yet Quality: very solid. Sound and looks great Review Summary: I will be switching, probably, to all nike equipment. On 2006-04-02, NicMercado rated this Nike Sasquatch 460 a 5...(6764)
Details: -1/2' Diamana Shaft: Stiff, 10.5 Loft, Standard Lie
Purchase: Purchase: Internet/ The Golf Warehouse: 300 USD + 53 USD shipping Pros: Unlike my old driver, the Sasquatch is very stable and it glides as if it has wings. No more Tee Box wrecking. It's very light and will not break the arms. Now I can concentrate on the right swing speed and form. It's very accurate to use and 95% of my swings were right in the center mark; bull's eye! It means 20 more yardage. Cons: The bulky head cover; it's a little hard to put on. Quality: Optimum Made. The yellow lines are powerful insigna. A real eye catcher. Review Summary: I'm fairly new to golf and i thought it will take time for me to be on par driving with the others until now. People in Nike really hit this one, big time time. BOW. You really did a good job. I'm eyeing the OSS clubs now. On 2006-03-22, Anonymous rated this Nike Sasquatch 460 a 5...(6742)
Details: Mitsubishi Diamana graphite. Stiff. 10.5 degree loft.
Purchase: Tested it at my local driving range, but bought it at a Golfsmith superstore near my home. The store has a 90 day 90% return policy so I didn't think there was much risk. Price $300. Pros: Everything. I like the elongated head. It makes the driver seem larger than others in the 460cc category. It's an agressive shape, but I like it. The sound at impact is extremely loud, but not obnoxious. I think the combination of the head and the shaft are perfect for me. It's in Tiger's bag so it must have something good. Cons: Some dislike the yellow accents on the bottom. To me I'm fine with it. you don't see it anyway when you're swinging. The only negative would be that the head cover is hard to take on/off when you first get the club. I've had it for a couple weeks and it's getting easier though as the sales guys at the store said it would. Still, a zipper might have made it easier. Quality: Very sound. The materials and technology that went into this club are fantastic. It's right on par if not better than drivers made by Callaway (which I play in my irons), Taylor Made, Cleveland, etc. Review Summary: I tested this club on a whim while at the range. My current driver was a Callaway steel head plus from ages ago. I decided to demo a couple of drivers with the intention of buying something new this year.
I read reviews on the Sasquatch and all the other top drivers on golf digest's hit list, and other periodicals. Now I've traditionally been about 50% with my driver (half the time my drives are good and long, half the time they're right or short). I purposely didn't use my driver that day on the range before I tested the Nike. I wanted to ensure that I wasn't in a swing groove from hitting balls prior to the test. For me it was a way to ensure an unbiased result.
I also decided that the results would be based on 4-5 swings only. (Pros tell me beyond that then your adjusting your swing to the club) Well no lie, the first few shots were right down the middle for a good 260+ yards. Each shot got a little longer as I started to swing a little harder and I was easily reaching 275 on a consistent basis.
Now I had a few slices here and there, but that was me trying to crush the ball, not a fault with the club. Every time I took my normal paced steady swing I nailed it.
I tested Callaway's 454 (last year's model, they didn't have the X460 open for demo yet) and the TaylorMade r7 425. Those other clubs were good too. But for me nothing compared to Nike's Sasq.
The driver I tested was a 9.5 degree. The one I bought was a 10.5 degree. I noticed my ball flights were a little lower than usual with the the 9.5 so I went with the 10.5. Even though my old callaway was a 9 degree. Before you buy, test different shafts and lofts (and club manufacturers) at an outside range if you can. Half the choice is getting the shaft/loft that matches your swing and it's better to see true ball flight if possible.
My confidence is back when it comes to the big stick and I owe it to Nike. They have designed a great club for the average golfer. On 2006-03-01, TheDaddy rated this Nike Sasquatch 460 a 5...(6691)
Details: Regular flex, Diamana shaft
Purchase: I bought this driver through a friend of mine that works at Nike. I paid about $200 for it. Pros: My buddy(who is a 5 handicap) usually blows me out of the water with his drives. They are usually long and high with a slight draw. He uses the Ignite 460. When I first got the SasQuatch he was very eager to try it, but found that he couldn't get it as high up in the air as his Ignite...he quickly dismissed. I too found it initially hard to get a high ball, but have learned to adjust myself to the club. One thing I do is let the club lay flat on the deck before gripping and ripping. I now put his Ignite to shame, out driving him by at least 10 to 20 yards. He has resorted to saying 'At least I shoot a lower score'. True. But the drives are mine. The SasQuatch is the real deal. The other day I smacked one 290 right down the middle of the fairway. Simply amazing. Cons: The large head takes a little getting used to. But the learning curve is very small. Don't let it intimidate you. Quality: Excellent quality. Great shaft. Review Summary: The SasQuatch is the best driver I have ever hit, and believe me, I've demo'ed and played with all the major brands. The sweet spot is huge and the shaft has the perfect amount of kick.
