Details: Forged Blades Stiff Stock shaft

Purchase:
Pros: I researched purchasing blade style irons for a long time. All I can say is I should have bought them earlier. I had always used cavity back irons, first with super-game improvement, then game improvement, now blades. I chose the Nike Blades after doing extensive research on all the top blade MFG's. Overall I felt the performance for the price was undoubtably the best! I ended up getting Stiff Shaft STD L and L. I had read many reviews here and at other top online retailers from people who had purchased these same clubs. Overall the reviews were good to great, with only a few that were dissatisfied. Most of the complaints came from a loss of Distance. This also concerned me and noticed that Nike has a slightly weaker loft than most other blades, but noticed that most blades were a weaker loft than cavity backs as well. I have not seen a loss in distance from these clubs at all, in fact just the opposite I gained distance! I found that when I struck the sweet spot that not only is that the best feeling I've had with a club, but the ball just launches even miss hits carry well. PW 130 now 140 9i 140 now 145-50 8i 160 now 165-70 7i 170 now 175-200 no kidding 6i 180 now 190-200 5i 195 now 190-205 4i 200 now 210-15 3i 210 now 215 Its my opinion that those that have complained of distance loss were not compressing the ball correctly. Straight? Man are they ever! I'm still working on my shot shaping its difficult to master, but if you need a pin seeking strike then look no further. These irons are super accurate
Cons: I can't have new ones every season!
Quality: Excellent, the steel is soft however so becareful with them. I refuse to hit these from a poor terrain lie. I take the penalty and hit it.

Review Summary: The best, go hit them and others you'll go back to the Nike Blades I promise...

Purchase: I bought the irons when the were practically new for $500. I basically got them because it was such a great deal.
Pros: I really enjoy the irons. They look great in the bag and at address, with a real smooth solid feeling when you hit it pure.
Cons: My only precaution is that as with all blades they're not the easiest to clubs to hit, you have to be on your game all the time. Mis-hits really penalize you distance wise.
Quality: the constuction and quality is great! No problems there, they are a incredibly soft metal and I would suggest getting your loft and lies checked yearly. Especially if you take a lot of turf

Review Summary: I play to a 5.8 handicap and I think I going to switch to a combo set or a muscle back set. overall they are sweet irons

Purchase: I bought a set of these babies from my pro shop, after getting fed up with my previous irons. I played a round with my friends nike irons and fell in love. So it was a trip to the pro shop and managed to pick them up for £599.
Pros: I love these clubs firstly because of their looks. They have a very shiny finish to them and have a traditional blade design look that will turn the heads of the lower handicapper. My previous irons were taylormade supersteel. They are a great iron but i found that they do suit the mid-high handicapper. I am 15 and play off 9 so i needed a club that really rewards a good strike. These DO! the ball flight is amazing, strong and on the low side. The forged feel is awesome even on a bad strike. These irons are a lot bigger in terms of distance than my predecessors. One less club than what i used to hit. I used to hit my taylormade 7 iron 160 yards. Now with the nike 7 iron 170-175 yards.
Cons: probably the fact that i will never look at another set of irons in the same way! They really are that good!
Quality: The grip is nice and soft, not too thick or not too thin. Its hard wearing and also grippable in wet conditions. The shaft is on the stiff side which suits me just fine. But the most important aspect of this club is the quality of the forge. On a sweet strike it sends a shiver down my spine!

Review Summary: Overall this club is great. Higher handicappers i warn to steer clear of these as they are not the most forgiving clubs you will ever come across. But lower handicappers who are looking for a good quality workable blade dont look any further.
