On 2004-05-25, cvgarcia89 rated this Nike CPR Irons a 5...(3683)

Purchase: I purchased these clubs after trying a few clubs in my friend'set during a round of Golf in Lewisville, TX. When I used my friend's on the course, The ball got up in the air quickly and straight. I went and got fitted at GolfTec and ordered these right after my fitting session. I paid $550 for the fitted steel shafted set of 5I - PW irons and the 22 and 26 degreee utility clubs.
Pros: These clubs feel great. The club heads feel thicker than others do some how, making contact with the ball feel very solid. The ball just seems to jump off the face and get up in the air very easily, even on miss hit shots. The two utility woods replace my 3I and 4I which I took out of my back years ago. The sound of the ball off the face of these clubs is a crisp ping sound. The ball goes straight and travels farther than my 3I and 4I ever did. There is simply no need to try and swing too hard with any of these clubs. Make an easy full swing and let these clubs do the rest.
Cons: The only thing I don't like about the set is that it did not come with a SW. I small price to pay for these clubs though. Oh yes, the candy apple red is a bit much too, but as long as I can find my ball, I can fight threw it. I was told by the golf pro at my local course that these clubs are not very good for trying to manufacture shots. I told him as long as these clubs help me keep my ball in the fairways and greens, I won't worry about trying do draw or fade the ball just yet :)
Quality: Construction of these clubs are wonderful. Very sturdy and durable.

Review Summary: I would recommend them to anyone who asks me. To get the quality of Nike clubs in this price range is well worth it. I am just trying to play bogey level golf and I am well on my way with the help of these clubs.
