Nike OSS Slingshots Golf Irons - Reviews

Purchase: Since I got back into playing a few years ago I've been using a cheap set of Dunlops from Wal Mart. I recently decided it was time for some new clubs and began researching on the web. I was impressed by all of the outstanding reviews for the Slingshots and they sounded like just what I was after. I purchased a new set of 2006 OSS Slingshots (steel shaft, regular flex)on Ebay for about $500.
Pros: So far, I like everything about these clubs! The difference is night and day compared to my old irons. It's hard to not hit these clubs straight and high. They are so forgiving, it's scary! They look great, feel great, and sound great! My slice has disappeared and my confidence level has skyrocketed after just two rounds and a couple of trips to the range.
Cons: No dislikes so far. It would be nice if a 3 iron was included in the basic set.
Quality: Construction seems to be solid. But really, that's something that only time will tell.

Review Summary: Maybe there are other "game improvement" clubs out there that would have done the same thing for me, if so, I wish I would have invested in new irons years ago. But having only the Slingshots to compare to my old irons, they are well the worth the investment for me. I would recommend these to any high handicapper looking to improve their game.
