Purchase: My local pro shop had an on course demo day for Nike clubs. I played a round with it to see what these new utility clubs are all about. They were asking $165.00 for them. You can find them alot cheaper online and in retail shops.
Pros: It sets up really easy behind the ball. It hits it high and about 210-220 yards for me. Good replacement for my 3 iron and even my five wood. Shaft seems to have a mid kickpoint in the stiff flex which gives it a pretty good trajectory. High but doesn't balloon. I was able to reach a 210 yard par 3 into a slight breeze no problem.
Cons: The grip is awful. It feels cheap and I really couldn't focus too well because of it. It has alignment lines which are nice, but that's about it. The color scheme overall is a bit gawdy. With the red and silver head, black, red and white shaft, and black and white grip, it all together is a bit over the top. The head cover is just as bad.
Quality: Didn't fall apart while I was demoing the club, but the grip sucks. A more muted color scheme would be nice.

Review Summary: I liked the overall performance of this club. I'm going to try a Taylor Made to see how I like it. If it performs like the Nike, I'll probably go with the T.M. The colors/graphics of the Nike are just too distracting. I know that's not the most important aspect of a club, but these are supposed to give a sense of confidence for the long iron shots, and they look like a Nike ad in your hands.
