On 2003-09-28, Happy Gilmore rated this Nike CPR Iron-Woods a 5...(2410)

Purchase: I purchased these clubs for($139 @ Roger Dunn gof Shop) after reading Tiger Woods "How I Play The Game" book. He said that more amateurs should have some type of utility club in their bag because of their ease of hitting,& replacing the hard to hit 2-3 irons which most of the time are only used during a golf round about 2-3 times if that(according to "TIGER"). Most people like myself cannot hit the lower irons "consistently" and place perfect shots like the PRO's can so I decided to buy this club and then I bought a second club because they're amazing to hit!
Pros: I love these clubs because they are weighted perfectly and hit amazingly well anywhere on the course even on the occasional mishit they still feel great. I have the 18 degree Iron-Wood, replaces the 2-3 iron & I average 220 yards on my hits. I also have the 24 degree Iron-Wood, replaces my 4-5 iron & I average 185 yards each hit). I've tried the Taylor Made and ADAMS utility clubs but prefer the Nike Iron-Woods because the head of the CRP iron-woods are smaller and more compact, which makes you feel like your hitting a iron!
Cons: Nothing at all to dislike about these clubs!
Quality: So far after about thirty rounds of golf, still in great condition! They seem to be constructed very well and the Red Metalic paint job on these clubs mixed in with the Brushed Stainless Steel look awesome!

Review Summary: Overall I can't say enough about these NIKE CPR Iron-Wood clubs, best purchase I've made for my golf game in a long time, will definetly take strokes off your game! The only problem is I can never find them in my bag on the golf course because all of my friends want to hit them any chance they can get! If your struggling with your 2-3 irons, don't let your ego get in the way of a great club to help your game.
