On 2005-02-01, Sutski rated this Northwestern 460 Plus 10 a 5...(4988)

Purchase: I got this rather large golf club (460cc's + 10cc's) off ebay.de for 60GBP. Pretty good when you see it on GolfTVproshop for 149GBP!!!
Pros: It is advertised as the "Largest, Longest, Legal driver" on the market today. They forgot to say it is also the loudest. No kidding. This club scares the heck out of me and I know I am about to hit it. The other poor souls on the range/course nearly die of shock every time I explode one off with it. It also goes very very very far. I have struggled to get 200meters with any club before this one. This monster carries 225 9/10 hits. It also goes straighter than any driver I have ever used. Believe the hype, it is a real beauty.
Cons: Nothing, except the frowns and tuts I get from other people on the range because of the obscene noise it makes. Let me try and describe it. Hit a half pound steel ball-bearing with a beta titanium skillet really, really hard and that will sound refined and quiet next to this....If this sounds like I don't like it. Wrong. It is an awesome sound and a fear inspiring noise for all those you play with!!!!
Quality: I got it cheap and I think I have a very cheap regular flex shaft on it. (I actually came to this site looking for write ups on a stiffer replacement shaft!)The club head itself is a large shiny monster of a club head that has no faults that I can see. The face is so large and well made that if you wipe it between shots, you can easily see where your ball made contact every time you hit it.

Review Summary: If you see this club and want a driver that is built for a fraction of the cost of any other driver on the market, do not hesitate to buy it. I have a SS of 95 - 100mph and I love it to bits already. I will for sure drop 5 shots next season because of it, probably more, even without changing the shaft. It is also a great conversation piece...
