On 2004-09-09, patriot47 rated this Northwestern Accutrac 400cc a 5...(4313)

Purchase: I acquired this driver from Overstock.com via the internet. After searching in many stores, golf centers, and the internet, I came across this club quite by accident. Prices on most drivers were more than I wanted to pay for an occasional duffer (1-3 times per month---and 3 times comes only once a season) so I decided that I would pay no more than $99 dollars for a new driver. My current driver being about 7 years old, I figured I could use a new one. This Accutrac 400cc, 10degree club cost me only $27.99 plus s&h.
Pros: The first thing that cought my attention about this driver was the appearance. It was simply beautiful! The look, the shape, the size, the degree of loft --- it all fell into place as to what I was looking for in a driver. Then when I received it and was able to get it in my hands I really felt that I had made a great decision. It was so well balanced and so well made I knew my scores would improve (and they did!).
Cons: There is virtually nothing I do not like about the Accutrac 400cc driver.
Quality: As I mentioned previously about the construction and quality of the club, Northwestern has hit a hole-in-one with this one. It has a nicely shaped, large club head (black). The shaft ia also black (it came in a regular stiffness graphite shaft 45"). The Soft Grip is ideal for someone my size (6' 200lbs) who wears a cadet medium-large golf glove. The feel of the unit when I swing it is just amazing. It feels so balanced.

Review Summary: Overall, my experience with the Northwestern Accutrac 400cc 10degree driver, so far, has been a very, very positive one. I look forward to the next time I play 18, every time I finish the last hole. A buddy of mine could not believe the Accutrac 400cc. He borrowed it to go to the driving range for two days. He said that he liked it so much he wanted to get one.
