Purchase: I was in the market for a new putter since my current putter was a basic blade. Golf Galaxy was having a sale on the DFX series putters. They were all $69.95 After testing the DFX 1100 (Mallet) and the DFX 3300 (Blade) I chose the 1100. The looks and feel are great. After going back and forth, I felt the 1100 had a better swing path through contact of the ball.
Pros: What I like... Everyhting. The weight of the putter is great. It is very easy to judge the distance of the putts from just about anywhere on the green. I have only played 2 rounds with it so far and I love it. My Handicap is in the low 20's, so saving stokes on the green is a must. I feel confident everytime I address the ball with this putter. On the first whole with this putter I sank about a 12 foot putt. The good luck has continued, I feel I should make every put within 10 feet, and 2 putt every other putt out there. The consistency, looks and feel are second to none and the alignment system work great.
Cons: So far there is nothing I dislike about this putter.
Quality: The construction an quality feels first rate. Also being a sister company of Callaway, I know the company will stand behind their product. I had to test the warrenty department with a Callaway wood and no questions asked, they simply replaced the wood with a new one!!!!

Review Summary: Bottom line, this is a first rate putter. A lot of companies are using gimiks and strange looking putters to attract customers, if you want a simple, good looking and a great performer, look no further than the Odyssey DFX 1100. You will not be unhappy with your selection.

Purchase: I bought this putter at a Dick's sporting goods for $89. I was on a trip during the masters and stopped in to catch a little action as I figured they had a TV in the golf section. I hung out at the practice putting green trying about 25 different putters while I watched the masters. I was not even looking to buy a club, just messing around. Within 10 putts with this putter I knew it was leaving the store in my hands.
Pros: This putter is perfectly balanced in every way. It is a "face balanced" putter which means when you balance it on one finger about 5 inches up the shaft, the face of the club is perfectly level and facing the sky. It is a heavy putter by traditional heal-toe standards, but lighter than the large and bulky full mallets and two-ball putters. It has a very solid feel and very easy distance control on fast and slow greens. The textured black face provides positive roll, but not "spin" like a milled face would. The DFX face is a little firmer than the white hot and works well with soft cover balls, like the Pro V 1. The sight lines on the top are outstanding for aiding in ailignment on both long and short putts. The bend in the shaft (which I have never cared for bent shafts or hosels in putters) actually gives you the benefits of a center-shaft putter without any of the drawbacks. I've had this club for few months and have dropped my handicap to a 3. I can't recall the last time I 3-putted, and I am making everything inside of 7 feet.
Cons: The odyssey grip is somewhat small for my hands, but I'm puting so well with it I'm not going to change it. When it wears out, I will probably switch to the Winn Whisper putter grip, which is larger and very very soft.
Quality: Outstanding in every way. Very appealing to the eye, the club virtually sets itself up, easy alignment, solid feel, durable finishes.

Review Summary: I've been playing golf for 17 years, mostly with the same Ping Zing putter. I've had numerous other putters, but until now never found one that so perfectly matched my needs. This is the best putter that I have ever had in my hands. More feel than the two-ball, more solid than a heel-toe, more consistent than a large mallet. The perfect blend and combination of all putter types in one club. Pure confidence.

Purchase: I recently traded in my Mizuno T.P. Mills putter at Wayland Golf Shops for an Odyssey DFX 1100. I was looking for a replacement that would improve my putting, because I was dissatisfied with my performance with the Mizuno. After demo-ing quite a variety of putters, I decided upon the DFX 1100, and I do not regret my decision one bit.
Pros: When I first played with the putter (approximately a month ago), I noticed an immediate change. As others who have reviewed this product have said, I too must reiterate the fact that I was giving myself 1-2 footers, rather than 3-5 footers for my second putts. I two-putted nearly every green on which I was 15+ feet from the cup, and I found a noticable improvement on my consistancy with 4-8 footers. The feel of the putter is profoundly softer than that of the Mizuno I previously owned, but it does not compromise accuracy or sweet spot size to accomplish this. The mallet-style head is not only attractive, but extremely helpful when lining up <10 footers. Finally, I must praise Odyssey Golf for the neat, yet audacious aesthetics of the club. The black-clad head and face invoke an aura of confidence and authority on and around the green. I have noticed significant improvement in my putting even in the short amount of time I have owned this club. This is merely a tribute to all the engineers and designers at Odyssey Golf.
Cons: My only complaint about the DFX 1100 is the fact that the retailer at which I purchased it did not carry DFX head covers, and so I settled for a White Hot 2-Ball head cover. I do hope that sometime I will be able to purchase a DFX head cover that better fits the shape and aesthetics of the actual product.
Quality: The performance of this putter is undoubtebly due to the quality of the construction and development.

Review Summary: My advice to those in the market for a new putter is this: if you would like to improve both your performance and your confidence in putting, I would recommend none other than the Odyssey DFX 1100, or whichever putter in the DFX line best suits your taste, (assuming that you are financially willing/able).

Purchase: I purchased the DFX putter from Golf Galaxy for $87 (regular price $109). The store matched a 20% off coupon from Galyans. I tried numerous Odyssey putters and chose between the DFX 1100 mallet and the White Hot Rossie. I had been using a Titlest putter for years and it was very outdated with regards to the new technology offered today.
Pros: This putter improved my game considerably. I'm not a very strong putter, but after playing with this putter, I'm finding that my putts are consistently better and I'm setting myself up for more two putts rather than three putts. I'm not missing as many putts in the 3-10 foot range anymore. The putter has a great feel to it. I found the White Hot to be too soft and it was more difficult to judge distance. However, the DFX's insert is softer than usual, but allows you to be a little more aggressive with putts.
Cons: None.
Quality: At first, I thought the size of the putter head was a little small. However, it's sweet spot is not lessenned and I actually like the size of the putter. The looks and contstruction of this putter give you confidence for every put. This putter is of very high quality.

Review Summary: I recommend this putter to anyone who needs a change or improvement in their putting game. I'm glad that I ended up with this putter rather than the White Hot.
