Purchase: I bought the putter at Edwin Watts for $169. I had a Rossa cgb daytona that I didn't like because its alignment was horrible and was'nt stable throughout the stroke. So I heard of the white steel series and purchaseed the two ball blade, because of the better alignment.
Pros: The putter is very accurate and feels soft at impact. The grip eases tension in the hands for a smoother stroke. About two weeks ago I made a 45 footer and shot 70 with it. I'm glad I switched because I probably would be missing three to ten feet putts. The putter with the help of the two ball system gives a better idea of where your aligned at compared to a painted line. This putter is also better with because it produces a higher MOI than the mallet white Steels.
Cons: There is nothing bad about the putter, but in about a couple of weeks the grip will wear and tear so getting that changed won't be to much a problem.
Quality: This putter rocks because of the accuracy of the steel insert and the softness of the white hot insert that combines to become a perfectly blended puter. Also the new face is easier and a tad bit smaller than it's DFX and white Hot predecessors. Paying the 170+ was worth it because it is so well put together and making my buddies cry while they think they beaten me.
Review Summary: This putter is top of the line and is a good step forward for Odyssesy from las year. If your looking for a super mallet than this is your putter.

Purchase: The head pro at my local municipal course was kind enough to allow me to demo this club on their practice green.
Pros: The new "White Steel" insert is an audibly pleasing addition to the White Hot face. It still very much has the soft white hot feel, and slightly muted sound, but a slight "click" at impact and a marginally firmer feel. I would liken the feel of the face to the Cameron Red X line. Winn grip is dreadfully ugly but very comfortable. Distance control was very good.
Cons: Odyssey has added some alignment "lines" to the primeter of the 2 white discs to aid in alignment. They really offer no more help in aligning the putter. The "Tour Lined" models of the current 2 Ball line are more accurate in my opinion. Also, they did away with the plumber's neck, and the shaft now enters directly into the heel of the putter like the mallet style, making it much less "Blade" like.
Quality: I have a 2 Ball DFX and a White Hot #1 from Odyssey and both are very well put together. I'm not sure how they adhere the steel insert into the white hot material, so I guess only time would tell if it holds up or comes "unglued."
Review Summary: The best part about Odyessey is they are always coming out with new products to give golfers more choices. This is a good putter, but it doesn't seem to really improve much over Odyssey's White Hot line or 2 Balls. It gives a different auditory gauge by which to judge the hit you place on the ball. I think the Tour Fill/Lined option in the 2 balls is the best offering they currently have. If you are a real "sound-oriented" putter, however, this may be a great choice.
