On 2008-10-22, chief rated this Ogio Atlas Cart Bag a 4...(8205)
Details: From the Ogio website...Taking it from the top, the Atlas features the new 10' Uniter 15-club top and patented Hoodç rain hood, the patented ZBP (Zipperless Ball Pocket), a neoprene Ball Silo and a wet-dry pocket. Among its ten intelligently designed pockets is dedicated storage for hydration, a cell phone, sunglasses, plus an internal isolation wet/dry chamber to protect soaked goods valuable gear and comes in 3 colors.
Purchase: I bought this bag at Golfsmith, it carries a price tag of $179. I paid 10% less using their discount card. Very nice price when compared to the Pro bag pricing from other manufacturers and really it is just as nice as most of them.
Pros: There is a lot to like about this bag. First it al lows you to organize everything you can think of taking to the course. Next it has a great club arrangement system, one hole for every club, that keeps them seperated so the shafts dont rub each other and it has a wet/cold pocket that is ideal for keeping those brews cold on hot days.
Cons: I only have one complaint about this bag, there is an external 3 ball holder made of plastic. I have used this bag for an entire season, but every time I place the bag into the car to transport, I am afriad of this piece breaking, although it hasnt yet. The other thing is that the ball bag is hinged and not zippered, so when you lay the bag down, you may have the balls roll out.
Quality: This bag is made out of nylon and neoprene and has a sturdy frame system. All the bases are covered nicely, and it is a lot better than the more expensive leather bags if you get caught on the course in the rain.
Review Summary: There are a few little things I personaaly have come to not like with this bag, but honestly there are so many good things the little nuances are something I can really ignore. This is a very good bag
