On 2004-12-29, Josh rated this Orlimar Hipsteel 9* driver with stiff fujikura shaft a 1...(4900)

Purchase: Bought this driver for $75.00 on Ebay.
Pros: It is a nice looking club, and feels good when you address the ball.It hit great for about 10 shots(longer that normal shots for me, between 340-360). I am a low handicaper and generate alot of clubhead speed(120-125 mph.After 10 shots the face cracked. I was quite disappointed.
Cons: I don't like the fact that the club broke after one trip to the range.
Quality: Everything looked and sounded great until the face cracked. I love orlimar. I play the hipsteel irons and wouldn't use anything else.

Review Summary: Bottom line, It would be a great club if the quality was there. I know why Orlimar doesn't make the hipsteel drivers anymore. I would highly recommend the Taylormade R360 or any of the R series.
