On 2003-06-20, Russ Willoughby rated this Paul Wilson Swing Machine Golf Book a 5...(1578)

Purchase: Cost: $60.00 Ordered @ www.swingmachinegolf.com. Heard about this book from a friend who was having real problems with his golf swing. He ordered the book and began building a new, simplified, repeatable golf swing in a matter of a few weeks. It was unbelieveable the dramatic difference in his golf swing and most importantly his score. After playing in the mid 90's for years, this good friend was now shooting in the upper 70's with consistancy and guess who was now the loser, me!!!!
Pros: What do I like about the book? Are you kidding!!!! Of course I bought it, for sheer preservation if for no other reason. Swing Machine Golf had the same impact on my game as it did on my friend. This book is laid out like no other that has ever been printed and is of a quality which will be difficult to surpass, beautiful in appearance. If you enjoy the game of golf and improvement is a desire, Swing Machine Golf by Paul Wilson will have a life long mark on your game. Who should read it? Now this sounds crazy, but every person who thinks they are an instructor of golf should read this book. I have taken a lot of lessons and have gotten a lot of quick fixes but no individual that I have taken a lesson from understands the golf swing like this and has the ability to explain the swing in terms that can be understood, followed and duplicated. This book should be required reading for all future PGA teaching instructors prior to them passing their final tests.
Cons: Sorry, but there is little not to like when something improves your golf game. This book has done a lot more for me than all the $400.00 drivers I have bought and are now collecting dust. In fact, if I had read the book first, I may have been able to give the drivers a far better evaluation. In other words, it may have been the operator, not the equipment.
Quality: This is a beautiful BLACK book that would enhance any coffee table. The paper quality and picture quality is wonderful.

Review Summary: Absolutely the best golf instruction book I have ever read and I have read many, including the biggest name in golf. My challenge to you, buy the book, read it, and if my evaluation is not correct, please e-mail me your choice of the best golf instruction book you have read and I will buy it. The only thing you have to lose is the higher golf score that you presently have at this time.
