On 2006-08-04, Aaron Morris rated this Peak Vision Golf Glasses ST7 (SHOT) a 5...(7346)

Details: Lightweight Brushed Platinum Frame. Dual Zone Performance Lenses Scratch and Shatter Proof. Comes with hard case and cleaning bag.

Purchase: Purchased from PeakvsionGolf for $170. Received: August 3, 2006 via FedEx. Was very intrigued by infomercials and testimonials. Very tired of spending money on useless eyewear made for looks rather than performance offered by big names, (Maui Jim's, Oakley, Nike, Bolle), glad somebody finally grasped the concept of actually using optics to help you play better while protecting your eyes. Duh!!
Pros: Lightweight, very clear unimpeded vision, sharp looking and clean, enhanced depth perception from all areas, very relaxing to the eyes, always forget that they are on. Work extremely well in sunny or overcast skies. Most amazing feature is the way they allow me to read the green, it is almost cheating, I have never ever seen greens like this before, the break and line simply 'JUMP', 'POP' out at you. I have been on some of these same greens dozens of times before but it is like I see them for the very first time. I own a very solid putting stroke and can hammer down straight putts no problem but I never see those, problems come when rolling the ball on right to left or vice versa cuz I CAN'T FIND IT! My skepticism was silenced the second I stepped onto the green and put these on my head. It was like I was 5 years old, 'Look Dad,,,I can see the break, gimme some balls' I will say confidently that anytime I ever play golf, Peaks will be on my head!
Cons: Please take care of these, the lenses will scratch. I found 2 pin size gouges in the lenses of mine the second day I had them. How....DUNNO!
Quality: Well constructed, comfortable and above all lightweight. Most glasses give me a headache after a while, these do not, I keep them on the whole round whether it be 18 or 36 tee to green.

Review Summary: Bottom line is, Peak Vision is onto something special and they are going to open plenty of eyes (no pun) by simply applying Technology that has always been there. It is kind of like the medical biz, always treating the problem, never solving it. Peaks are the solution to an ill putting game. Major props to Inventor Paul Moore, you have filled a void in my game and made it clear that I need to protect my eyes at the same time.
