On 2004-02-21, Jim GolfNutz rated this Perfect Club Perfect Club a 5...(2898)

Purchase: On May 3rd, 2003 I was involved in an accident - I was run over by a dog ... don't ask... and broke my leg. I was completely laid up for about 4 weeks and since I could'nt play golf, watched the Golf Channel way too much. I kept seeing Peter Kessler and his stupid infomaercial for the perfect club and the only reason I kept watching it was see Karen's athletic body making beautiful golf swings. When I was finally off crutches, I stopped by a pro shop at a driving range and inquired about the club and was taken to a tee box to hit a few balls **** LOVE at first swing **** I never hit a ball so easily - so straight - so consistently !!! I didn't like the $200 price tag so shopped around and was able to buy a graphite shated Perfect Club for $100 at Dick's Sports.
Pros: EVERYTHING !!!! I love the shorter shaft - it makes it such an easy club to control. The additional weight in the sole of the club helps to increase club head speed through impact so that the natural loss from the shorter shaft is made up. The ball becomes airborne very easily and I get a good 210-220 yards - Dead Straight. I hit the club so well and so far I got rid of my "Biggest Big Bertha" driver and my orlimar fairway woods, because my distance loss is minimal and I'm now in the middle of the fairway.
Cons: That it took me so long to find it.
Quality: I've played it about 15-20 rounds and construction and quality is fine. No complaints.

Review Summary: Best club I've ever hit for distance, accuracy and ease of working slight draws and fades.
