On 2003-11-25, Patrick S. rated this Perfect Club MRH Graphite a 5...(2567)

Purchase: I purchased this Perfect Club on EBay about 2 months ago. Paid just $71 plus S/H for the barely used graphite shaft unit. My intent was to replace (as P Kessler says) my 3 and 4 irons and 5 and 7 woods. As a relative beginner, I was having too much trouble mastering the 3,4 irons and the idea of substituting 1 club for 4 sounded inviting.
Pros: The Perfect Club works as well as promised. NO more do I carry the 3 and 4 irons. Yet I find that the Perfect Club just fits nicely with its 21d loft between my 5 wood at 19d and my 7 wood at 23 degrees, so I carry all three. The Perfect club is a pleasure to swing. It's a straight hitter with good distance. The short shaft at 39" (I think) swings like a hi-powered 5 iron, and just as easy to control. The shots fly high and land softly with little rollout. And it's the EASY swing that does it all.
Cons: There is nothing I dislike about this club. In fact, I just bought 2 more to use as Xmas presents.
Quality: Quality is top notch. Clean lines, stiff graphite shaft, excellent Lamkin grip.

Review Summary: What I've said previously covers it all. Thsi is a great club. The retail price is down to $99 for steel shaft and $125 for graphite. Quality is the best. And IT PERFORMS, and makes it easy for you to perform at your best levels. I would recommend this club to anyone who wants to simplify their game a bit.
