On 2008-12-05, Aldo rated this Pinemeadow Command Q4 a 5...(8236)

Details: Left handed Command Q4 400cc,10.5 degree loft, stiff flex Aldila graphite shaft shortened 1 inch.

Purchase: Been away from golf for a while and wanted to get back into the game. I was looking for a new set but was flabber gasted at the prices for name brand clubs namely Callaways and Taylormades. Did a search online and came across Pinemeadow. Read some reviews and decided to give the them a try. I wanted to buy the Taylormade R7 adjustable weight driver but couldn't see myself giving up an arm and leg for the small fortune they want for this driver. I decided on the Pinemeadow Command Q4 driver since it is just like the Taylormade. Custom fit to my specs for around $99 is a deal. Received order from Pinemeadow Golf and took the the driver to the range and was blown away at how great it felt and how it the launched off the face.
Pros: I had been fighting a slice and low trajectory with my old Callaway Big Bertha Warbird (Been away from golf for a while so the Big Bertha was the it driver then). With the Command Q4 I was nailing drive after drive straight down the range 10- 15 yards further. I didn't even adjust the weights and kept it at high trajectory. I love this driver.
Cons: Nothing! I bomb off the tee further and straighter than some of my buddies with $400 name brand drivers. They can't beleive I only paid $100 for mine.
Quality: Great quality and nice finish on the driver. Looks and feels just like the brand name drivers but at 1/4 the cost. Movable weights are colored for recognition is nice too.

Review Summary: I can't see why anyone would pay 4x the amount for a name brand club that won't make them play like the pros. 'It's not the bow and arrow it's the indian' an old timer once told me. I guess it's all psychological that it must be better if it's expensive. Oh well, I won't be contributing the PGA pros salaries by buying branded clubs.
