Details: Pinemeadow EXEL mid launch irons 3-SW left hand with Apollo lite steel stiff shafts and standard Pinemeadow grips.

Purchase: Been away from golf for a while and wanted to get back into the game. I was looking for a new set but was flabber gasted at the prices for name brand clubs namely Callaways. Did a search online and came accross Pinemeadow. Read some reviews and decided to give the EXEL mid launch a try. Custom fit to my specs for around $150 is a deal. Received order from Pinemeadow Golf and took the the clubs to the range and was blown away at how great they felt and how accurate they were. Awesome set. Prior to this purchas I demoed the Callaway X18. These EXELs hit identical. I can't see how others are paying 4 to 5 times more for name brand stuff that won't make them play like the pros.
Pros: the clubs were shortened by an inch since I'm only 5'4 at no extra cost. The clubs feel great to hold and swing. Well balanced and accurate.
Cons: Nothing. They feel like Callaways at 1/5 the price.
Quality: Excellent construction. Fine looking club with the mirror finished heads.

Review Summary: Great set of irons for an even greater price. No need to make the pros even richer by buying name brand when you can get an awesome set for fractions less.
