Purchase: WWW.PINEMEADOWGOLF.COM website online. I talked to many experienced players (15-30 years of golf experience) and they all recommended either high quality used clubs or clones from Pinemeadow Golf. They stated Pinemeadow were the ONLY clone makers they trusted and that the quality rivaled that of the brand names they match. I paid $159.00 for the Tour Gear II irons which are closely matched in appearance and function to the Callaway Hawkeye irons...
Pros: The quality of the irons was top notch...great true temper steel shafts...very nice grips and the feel of these clubs is exceptional. I could not tell them apart from the real Hawkeyes other than a couple visual differences...I almost bought their version of the Hawkeye VFT models...but decided to get the originals since I was new to the clone world. My shots at the range go straighter, much further, and the swing weight helps me in my consistency in squaring the face to the ball. I just love them...
Cons: That there is not more advertising or coverage of this manufacturer...whom I would never find if not for friends. I understand the need for manufactures to make a living...but these are perfect for beginners who have yet determined their likes and playing style and do not have a lot of money to throw away on name brand equipment as they fumble through their learning process.
Quality: Pinemeadow uses only the best in graphite and true temper steel shafts...grips are outstanding as is the service and quality of workmanship (finish and function). No visible difference between much more expensive irons and these...

Review Summary: When I decided to try golf two months ago...I did not want to spend a lot of money. Found Golfpak clubs at Kmart and bought them thinking that after a year I could upgrade to an intermediate set of clubs. After 2 months all of the shafts except 4 have broke where glued into hosel. So Pinemeadow comes into the picture and I only regret not knowing about them prior to this kmart purchase and starting off with what I have now. They are great quality, great price and they stand behind their products 100%...unlike Golfpak who took a month to respond. I have no hesitation in recommending these to anyone...of any skill level or income level and resting assure that they will last and produce quality equal or above the name brand versions.
