Purchase: Purchased at Golfsmith for $299. Traded in "misfit" Ping G2 10 degree Driver and Ping SI3 380.
Pros: LONG and accurate at 8.5 degree loft and Aldila NV Stiff flex. 20 yards longer than my "old" (2 week) Ping G2 Driver, which was a 10 degree loft with a Grafaloy ProLaunch Blue R flex shaft. My driver swing speed is 105 MPH. I could control the R flex, but was losing distance to high trajectory and less roll. This is a completely different club when fit properly. Driver distance now averages 265 yards. The "old" version was frustrating me as it was shorter than most of the drivers I have owned. A WORD OF CAUTION: If you are interested in higher loft, go with the Grafaloy ProLaunch Blue shaft. If not, it may be wise to look elsewhere.
Cons: The head cover does not protect the shaft.
Quality: Excellent.

Review Summary: Priced absolutely right at $299. out of the gate. This club is superior to the Taylor Made r7 Quad in all aspects except for the ability to customize ball flight. I use lead tape anyway, and I'll bank the $200. difference.
