Purchase: I had an R7 and it did not give me the distance or forgiveness I was looking for. I went to Nevada Bob's and they suggested going and trying the G2. I did and loved it. I got it fitted right at Ping and it is wonderful. I paid a lot less than list because of the trade in.
Pros: The G2 is the best driver I have hit. I have had( in 3 years)a 580XD, R7, and a Cleveland Launcher. NONE compare. The trajectory is perfect, the NV65 stiff shaft gives me good feel and performance and the head is not only nice to look at but goes a ton when hit and 1/2 a ton when not. Off center hits still hold and go long. The G2 has a nice, kind of dull, ting to it. Not annoying at all. Go get it fitted. It is great for your game!
Cons: The head cover could be longer so it does not expose the shaft as much. That is it.
Quality: I had it fitted and got exactly what I needed. The NV65 is great, the grip is 1/64 small and suits me to a slight draw, and the head is 460cc of confidence. The moon alignment is a very cool idea. A very nice weight that swings very easy.

Review Summary: Unbelievable!!!!! If in the market for a driver, give the G2 a try. You will not be sorry. I suggest a launch monitor and fitting session. You will notice a big difference from just off the shelf. Great Product PING!
