On 2004-08-05, Allen rated this Ping Si3 340cc 9 degree Black Dot w/ Grafalloy Blue (S) a 5...(3980)

Purchase: Bought Driver from Ebay for around $200 brand new.
Pros: This club is accurate and fairly long. Not the longest driver on the market but the shot dispersion is excellent with the Grafalloy Blue shaft. I got the Black Dot(standard) -1 Degree Closed face- and this club just does not push out to the right when making an aggressive swing. I can draw and fade well with this club..does exactly what I ask it to do.
Cons: Sometimes bad swings that hook off the tee, become real bad hooks with the 1 degree closed face. Like everyone says the trajectory is higher than most 9 degree drivers out there and I should've gotten the 8 degree instead.
Quality: Fit and finish is excellent! This is my first Ping Driver and I am not disappointed. The 340cc head is perfect for me....I like more traditional sized heads.

Review Summary: Excellent Driver. Good upgrade from my TaylorMade. More forgiving and more carry off the tee. Around the same overall distance or even a little shorter than my old TM actually. But the Grafalloy Blue is a excellent shaft and makes the game easier. I'm always long and down the middle nowadays.
