Purchase: Purchased off E-bay in like new condition for $239.00 including shipping. I have improved my game, and I was hitting my 10.5* Taylor Made R540 too high, especially into the wind. I had played a couple rounds with local club pros who swear by these drivers.
Pros: Great distance, equal to or longer than my T.M. R540 with the same shaft. More importantly, the accuracy of this driver is superb. I can hit a controlled fade or a draw on demand, even the almighty "stinger" below the wind. The backweight on this driver makes a noticeable difference in helping to swing "Down the line." Love the Grafalloy Blue shaft. I like that there are different lie angle options to suite one's swing type and physical stature. I used Ping's Web Fit process to help my decision.
Cons: Just got it. Nothing so far, and if I continue to swing with it like I am currently, I will have this in my bag for a long time to come.
Quality: Very sharp looking club. Seems very solid. Face of this driver doesn't seem to be prone to scuffing up like the Taylor Mades (Both my T.M. R540 and 360 have scuffs from hitting range balls, which happened almost instantaneously.)

Review Summary: Great club. A note to buyers- The launch angle of this club is fairly high. Don't hesitate to drop down a degree or two if you are looking for a penetrating ball flight. Couldn't be happier with this club. I play Ping irons, and had never even hit a Ping driver prior to this one. They are high quality clubs that stand up to Ping's reputation. Looks like its time to trade in some Taylor Made drivers.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
