Purchase: Purchased used through a friend for $200.
Pros: When you connect with this monster, the ball goes on forever. Any golfer near 50 yards of the tee stops what they're doing and stares. This is a loud club that sounds as if you destroyed the ball. Even off center hits get good distance w/minimal sidespin. Most drives are 280-300yds, when I hit the sweet spot I've gotten 320. It's fun driving par 4s.
Cons: The sound of the club hitting the ball, while impressive, can fool you into thinking you hit a big drive. Just average drives sound as if they were crushed. The size of the clubhead takes some getting used to. I don't know if this is a bad thing, but my friends marvel at how big the head is and how far my drives go.
Quality: I have the Ping eye 2 irons and Answer 2 putter. This driver and all Ping products are of the upmost in quality.

Review Summary: I have averaged a new driver a year for the past several years. I am obsessed with finding the ultimate driver. Previous drivers are as follows: Taylor Made Bubble Titanium, 200 series driver, Calloway BBB, Adams SC, Titleist 975D. The Ping TiSi is the best yet. You still need a decent swing for optimal results ( I am a 9 Hdcp.)

Purchase: I got it at my local golf store for $199.00, this is a RSS with the proforce UST 75 shaft...
Pros: This club is very forgiving... and a lot of distance off the tea.
Cons: nothing.. everything seems sound.
Quality: Titanium RSS driver with proforce UST 75 shaft stiff.

Review Summary: This club can really take off without thinking about the miss hits.. since it has a bigger face which is forgiving for the average golfer.

Purchase: Paid $399 at a pro shop. Was looking for something to improve my game and after breaking 90 for the first time, decided it was time to get a little more serious.
Pros: What's not to like? First of all it's a beauty. Even though beauty may only be skin deep, all you have to do is hear the sound this driver makes when you nail the ball and you'll know your money was well spent. Typically I can drive the ball about 230 yards (I'm a small guy), but I'm consistently getting 20 to 30 more yards out of this pup. It's very forgiving and that's exactly what I need right now.
Cons: It's a bit on the expensive side and the head of the driver is unusually large and surprisingly light. Even though I can appreciate the extra surface area, I sometimes wish there was more weight behind it.
Quality: Titanium with a very light club head. Mine has the Grafalloy shaft and is 8.5 degrees of loft.

Review Summary: Quite expensive, but will make a difference if you can get used to the light weight. It's a very forgiving club that can make a difference if you let it. Even if you don't hit 'er straight, the sound that rings out when you hit the ball will make you sound like a pro!
