Purchase: I had been struggling with even using a driver off the tee and was invited to try my firiend's Ping and actually hit not just one but several decent drives. I ordered one over the net and paid the full retail (at the time) of $400.00. Pros: I am pleased with the ease of hitting the ball from the tee with the Ping. There is seldom "scalping" or even more meaningful to me, slicing the ball. And I have to admit the sound that is made when the ball is hit gains attention from every golfer around me. Cons: The only thing I have found that is a problem is that I have to clean the club because I actually get it dirty in play. No complaints from me about anything with this club. Quality: Ping does an outstanding job in engineering and construction of all of their clubs. It is built so very much better than many of the clubs of my friends. It is absolutely first class in construction. Review Summary: My Ping driver changed my whole game by making me and making me want to use the driver. It has become my favorite shot on the course now. The Ping is of fantastic quality and the result has made me a better golfer. My attitude has improved 100% about my game.

Purchase: I heard it was a good driver Pros: It had good potential until I encountered all the stuff listed under what I didnt like. Cons: Avoid Ping multi-piece clubs
Ping is a very arrogant and self appointed dictator of what I shall do to MY club and how I shall do it. I bought a Ping Tisi driver and the back weight flew out at the range- not to be found. I sent an e-mail to Ping inquiring about buying a new one. They said I MUST send it to them because they refuse to send anything out, "for quality control purposes". DUH! The original quality was bad, very little evidence of glue was in the weight cavity. But they would do it for free so not too bad so far, it would cost me $16.00 shipping/insurance both ways. I also learned from the e-mail that they will replace my too flexible shaft for $70.00. That is too much so I will do it myself, and I removed the shaft prior to shipping.( also if you want a new hosel orientation, $70.00 and they will NOT reuse the shaft) I got a call saying they cannot install the back weight and ship it back with out a shaft in it. Nor can I just pay for the back weight installation with out first having the head sent back to me, a shaft put in, sent back to Ping and then get the back weight. Bottom line I am not going to be held hostage to what Ping decides I will do and how I will do it. There are plenty of good golf clubs out there I don't need Ping. My first Ping and my Last. I will put lead in the back hole and get it to work, I've doctored plenty of clubs before. BUT I will also obliterate the ping name on the club, no Ping head cover and not advertise in any other way for them. In fact I will slam them every chance I get. They can have a warehouse full of Ping clubs that they can fondle every so often but they won't be found in my bag. Every so often a company thinks they can dictate all things to the customer, and the customer has to say see-ya! That is how the market place works. If they are so in love with "THIER" clubs, loan them free of charge . Then they are the legal owner and can dictate whatever they want. They claim every policy is for quality control and in the best interest of me the consumer. DUH! Quality: Multi piece construction associated with Ping repair policy renders the club avoidable Review Summary: No thanks I'll pass because of Pings arrogant dictating of what and how I will deal with MY club
