On 2003-05-02, Mr. Dichard rated this Ping i3 steel driver 9 degree a 1...(1244)

Purchase: Demo'd the driver from International Golf in Vermont. Clubs was $199 with graphite though was a good deal.
Pros: I liked the look of the club at address. Lokked a lot like a oversized 3 wood but that's the only thing I liked about it.
Cons: From the first swing I knew this club was not what other reviews said it to be. No distance and I found the graphite shaft to be very weak. i compaired this side by side with my Callaway Steelhead plus and hands down the callaway was a much better club and wouldn't recommend the Ping.
Quality: Quality looked nice but looks are not everything....playability is the key.

Review Summary: Not recommended! lack of feel and distance better clubs out there on the market.
