Details: Ping G2, 14 Degree, stiff graphite shaft

Purchase: Bought the club at a local golf store for about $200.00. I'm left-handed, so I had to special order. I demo'd it for a trip to the range and one round ... and I loved it. But ....
Pros: I loved the initial feel of the wood and the appearance. It's a slightly lower loft than a typical 3 wood, so it also feels like a 'strong' club.
Cons: After my initial excitement about this club, I quickly realized it was not for me. The shaft enters the clubhead at a slightly odd (for me) angle, and I never developed any confidence with the club. I popped up a lot of shots off the tee, and I pulled a lot of fairway shots. I was hoping it would be a strong club for controlled drives on tight par 4s and long-distance approaches to par 5s. But, after a local 3-round tournament in which I hit about 4 out of 15 good shots with the club, I traded it in and ordered a Titleist 904 with an extra stiff speeder shaft.
Quality: No complaints.

Review Summary: What can I say? It's a solid club that drew my initial interest, but I could not perform well with it. The lightweight shaft, although stiff, seemed a bit 'wippy' to me and I just never felt confident in the club. I want a 3 wood I can confidently control, and this was just not the club for me. I did demo it for a day, but I quickly lost interest and confidence.
