Purchase: I had been looking for a fairway wood that would go further than my 15 degree Callaway Steelhead and still be just as accurate. There were many 13 degree fairway woods on the marked which do go further but lose alot in accuracy. I had been wishing for a 14 degree fairway wood for a long time. I was at Golftown browsing and saw that Ping had a new line. The G2 and it was 14 degrees. Immediately on picking it up I knew this was the one for me. The price tag was right as well. $275.00.
Pros: Everything is great with this club. It's 14 degrees of loft gives me about 245 - 250 yards in distance with great accuracy. The clubhead has a fading golfball imprint on the top which makes it easy to align without distracting you. It has a very solid feel and great impact sound.
Cons: Nothing.
Quality: It seems to be very solidly built. I've played about 30 rounds with it so far. The face is not scared up and the paint is still like new.

Review Summary: This club has everything I want. It's accurate, dependable and very beautiful. And it didn't cost an arm and leg to own. Can't beat that.
