Details: 15* G5 3 wood graphite shaft

Purchase: I bought this club from Uinta Golf (local golf speciality store). I paid $217 minus $55 of trade value. I bought it because I play ping irons and really enjoy them for ease of play and build quality.
Pros: It has a very clean design. It looks great in the bag and at address. It hits smoothly in such a way that it builds confidence that is a must. It has a hot face that seems to launch the ball. I swing easy and hit it an average of 250 yds (235-265 depending on roll). It was consistently straight. I hit 5 of 7 fairways and drove through the turn on 1 I missed. Birdie looks much easier from the center of the fairway. I may not hit a driver again.
Cons: This club-Nothing! Ping in general - make fantastic clubs but it is impossible to find a sale on them and they are not cheap. However, buy them you won't regret it. Custom fitting, great construction, ease of hitting...their worth it!
Quality: Second to none

Review Summary: Great clubs. I recommend the entire G5 line. I still lack a lob wedge and a quality driver. Ping is the first thing I'll look at and will have to be blown away by a competitor to buy anything else.

Details: 3 wood stiff

Purchase: i bought the club because it looks great.
Pros: Sleek design. Very good looking club. Big face for tee shots.
Cons: Not designed well for off the turf use. The big face is harder to control at impact with the ground.
Quality: Its a PING. The quality and construction are great.

Review Summary: I really liked the look of the club when i put it in my bag. I played with it for about 8 rounds and D.range trips in between. Was a good club to tee off with, but useless otherwise. To big of a head, the biggest of any fwy. wood (265cc) of all major brands. Difficult to get up in the air off ground.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
