Purchase: I purchased this club because i needed to upgrade my Adams Redline ti 3 wood. The only thing i can say is 'wow'. This fairway wood is the hottest and best looking fairway wood i have ever seen and hit. I paid $219 for this club but its worth it because when i was teeing off the 1st whole at my local course i smacked it and it came off hot and it went 296 yrds. This is by far the farest i have eve hit a 3 wood. Later in my round i smacked it off the ground 270 on a par 5 and it landed on the green perfectly. Best club ever. Pros: Hot face, big enough head to hit off the tee, but good sized head to hit it off the ground. The shaft plays perfect,(get the stiff shaft if u are a long hitter and u swing between 100-150mph) Finally the pirce is not too expensive, compared to the cleveland launcher steel (which by the way is less playable) Cons: The fact my driver sees less play time. (but hey as long as im in the fairway and about the same distance. i dont care) Quality: Ping has the best quality because everything is made and assembled here in the USA. Review Summary: Best fairway wood if u have the cash get one now.

Purchase: I bought this 3 wood at Bonaventure Golf, a local golf store. I paid $219 in cash and trade. I had eliminated my 3 and 5 wood a few months ago and was playing a #1 and #2 hybrid. The #2 has worked out well as a replacement for the 5 wood, however I could not hit the #1 hybrid as far nor as well as a 3 wood. We recently had a 3 club tournament at my home course and I figured it was time to go back to a 3 wood. I researched, shopped and debated over the Cleveland Launcher Steel and the Ping G5. I had owned a Ping G2 3 wood and was leaning toward the CLeveland Launcher to try something different. Well after reading reviews and talking to a sales rep at the golf store I purchased the Ping. So far it seems a good choice. I hit it very well off the tee but the real pleasure are the shots from the deck. This has club has been so easy to hit of the ground. The ball is hot off the club face. I don't remember hitting a fairway wood this well. Why did I ever change to a hybrid? Pros: Shaft, size of head and results. Cons: Nothing. Quality: Ping products are always quality products. Review Summary: Great club and I am very pleased with this 3 wood.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
