Details: Ping G2 Regular Flex, Stock lie angle(black dot), Standard ping grips(white dot), Standard Ping Steel Shafts equals True Temper CS-Lite

Purchase: I bought the irons at a Golf course's Pro Shop. I had to order them from the Pro Shop, from PING(I'm a lefty!), I got them $800(Canadian), THEY ARE NORMALLY $1200.99(Canadian)
Pros: I like the feel of the G2's, and the forgiveness and workability! The grips are the best around. What I also like about Ping(G2) you get 10 year warrenty on the clubs, and they have several lies and grip sizes to choose from. Ping is the best for club fitting in the game!
Cons: They are cavity backs and aren't the best looking clubs(but that has nothing to do wiht golf!), and thre not chrome finished. But for me...I have nothing against them from a proformance look!
Quality:

Review Summary: For you golfers looking for a good club fitting, pick PING. And for you who want max. forgiveness and workablility, the G2 is perfect. They also add yards to your game!Go ahead test out some Ping G2 irons!!!

Purchase: I purchased my Ping G2 irons at a very low discount.(Thats all i can say) I can choose any club i want in my store at a great price. I chose these hoping they would compensate for me not practicing enough, being more of a game improvement iron.
Pros: I liked the way they felt the first time i hit them. They are very forgiving on mishits, very very forgiving. They also feel very good considering how forgiving they are.
Cons: Ping never makes a bad club, but, if you are considering these clubs be aware of the major offset club face, and the higher lofts on each club than normal. These two things drove me crazy. I could not stand to look at the offset and the distance per club went down from my usual numbers due to higher trajectory from higher lofted clubs.
Quality: Ping is honestly one of the best golf equipment manufacturers in the world. The quality and construction is superior to most manufacturers.

Review Summary: I have recently sold them to move on to something else. Most higher handicappers may benefit from higher lofts from a forgiveness standpoint. Once again i would never say don't buy Ping G2's but only to be aware of what you are getting with them. For the right person it is a great choice.

Purchase: I Bought and had my G2's fitted at 2nd swing golf for $699.00.
Pros: These clubs are the most forgiving club i've ever him. If you like high and shraight then these are the clubs for you. My G2's are green dot 1" long and the distance is the same as my old set.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of. They go a little high but, I'm hit the ball high for 15 years.
Quality: It's a ping enough said!

Review Summary: Buy you a set you won't be disapointed.

Purchase: Purchased at a pro-shop for about $650. Ordered the set without a 3 iron and saved $100 because I will never hit the thing.
Pros: I had been in the market for new clubs for about three months. I tried Callaway x18, Big Bertha 04, Nike Slingshot, and Cobra SSi. Without a doubt the G2 was the most forgiving and had the best feel. The custom fitting was well worth it, as i discovered that I needed 2 degrees upright (green dot)even though I'm only 5'7. Every shot is crisp, even mis-hits. They rarely dig into the turf and always get the ball airborne. Hitting it flush is like a jolt of engery through your body.
Cons: Thought they were a bit ugly at first. However, the un-polished finish adds confidence and aids in alignment in the sun.
Quality: Superb.

Review Summary: An outstanding club that I can see myself playing for many years.

Purchase: i was fitted silver stiff cslite +1/2 inch I3 white cord d2 steel at a beautiful little course in sussex new brunswick, canada...got a real good deal. going for drivers next.just gotta find a good flowershop..i hear a dozen roses to the wife is a good start to purchasing great woods....
Pros: The moment i picked up the club it was meant for my hands and after hitting a number of balls into the net i was in search of a fitter. They swing so clean and smooth...and when the sweet spot is contacted, no words can describe it....
Cons: the only part about my irons i don't like is putting them in the garage because the wife won't let them lay in between us in bed at night.if she only felt the same way about her iron , she would understand...
Quality: they are simply made with the best of precision

Review Summary: would recommend these clubs to anyone

Purchase: I have always favored Ping equipment because of their quality. I purchased my G2 irons from a local golf store for 400, since i traded in a set of i3's.
Pros: They are a very forgiving club, even off center shots tend to stay straight. As far as playability, i found it harder to work the ball than with my i3's, but don't mind giving that up for amount of forgiveness you get. Also, being able to mix a set with HL is helpful.
Cons: I've had them for over a year, and there isn't anything I don't like about them.
Quality: As far as looks, these clubs are great. Quality and construction are awesome.

Review Summary: Ping did a great job designing the G2 series irons by allowing different types of golfers to select different setups to suit their needs. I have a 3,4, and 5 HL with standard 6-SW. This was the ideal mix for me, and so far it has worked great. These clubs would suit any golfer from high handicappers to the ringers.

Purchase: Golf super store. $699.00 Reviewed countless iron sets on the internet. Test drove the Callaway X-16, Ping I-3, King Cobra SSi, and Nike Slingshot. The Ping G2 had the best feel.
Pros: Everything! The Ping G2's were sent to earth by God himself. Excellent feel and responsiveness. When you hit one crisp, you really know it. Off center hits are still good shots that just don't feel quite as nice. I went through two large buckets of balls at the range the first day I got my clubs and didn't hit one bad shot.
Cons: There's nothing to dislike.
Quality: Excellent.

Review Summary: Absolutely excellent clubs. You can't go wrong with these. Definitely have them fitted. It makes a big difference. I can't believe how much my game has improved. These clubs gave me back my confidence. You owe it to yourself to check them out!

Purchase: Note: Configuration for this set is 3,4,5 HL and 6-pw cs lite steel, black dot ,aqua grip. It all began in a small town in upstate New York on a wintry March day in 1945 and ended up at an overcast, drizzly demo/fitting day March 2004 at Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas Texas. A fancy dressed dude, callin hisself David White and claiming to be from the Ping Possee in Arizona territory sized me up pretty quick with a G2 cs ultra lite ,black dot, aqua grip 7 iron and told me to fire away. Well, one shot off the ground and I told him I wanted sign on, But these hombres are tough to please. I had to keep at it with the G2 and G2HL untill he was satisfied I would represent them properly. When I asked him about graphite he just turned away for a second and said "Well if you just want to spend $200.00 for no reason I suppose you could"
Pros: My own mother didnt treat me this good when something bad happened. Fit and balance. When I have one of these clubs in my hand I feel as though I have been taken over by an alien force that causes me to make good shots.
Cons: Whats not to like?
Quality: PING<PING<PING<PING<PING<PING ,get the picture?

Review Summary: I startedback playing golf 18 months ago after a 19 year lay off. In 1984 I owned a house in a golf course community that backed on to the course at about the 6th green. Maybe I was serious about the game or only mildly obsessed. A back injury and a move got me away from the game until recently. I tried having my old Pinseekers regripped and quickly bought a set of starter clubs (Lynx Predators, graphite irons and woods). After 6 months my game improved so I bought a set of Taylormade 320s with light graphite on ebay for $225.00. I hit them long but sprayed shots everywhere and took them in to have the lie and flex checked out and found out they were sr flex and I could not control them. In addition the regular grips hurt my hands . Then I got the brilliant idea to be fitted .I went to a golf pro where I play and he fitted me for a set of Titleist 762s ,light steel, reg flex. I bought them. He called me the next day and said it would be 3 months to get the clubs because they were special order(LH) and Titleist was going to dis continue the line soon.I canceled the order and went shopping, I found a set of 762s at a Golfsmith. They were used and had the Rifle 5.0 and tour grips. I took them out and played one round and brought them back to have the lie checked because too many shots were going left, The 6 iron lie was 58,standard for Titleist is 62.5. Golfsmith shipped them off to Titleist to be set to standard lie,I got them back in two weeks but was never comfortable with them from that point on. I decided to go game improvement and bought a set of King Cobra ssi graphites off the rack. What an idiot. I had not realized that in the past 15 years they had lengthened the graphite clubs 1.25 to 1.5 inches and delofted all the irons 2-3 degrees. plue the grips were too large. Anyway, my experience says find a professional club fitter preferably not associated with a big chain and use every technical device available to you if you are not athletically gifted. P.S. Since I got my Pings my playing partners have taken back 4 of the 8 strokes they give me per round and threatening to take away all 8.

Purchase: I BOUGHT THESE IRONS FROM A LOCAL GOLF DISCOUNT STORE. HAVE BEEN PLAYING TITLEIST FOR YEARS. PAID ABOUT 699.00 US DOLLARS.
Pros: THE SHORT AND MID IRONS ARE VERY EASY TO HIT AND WILL GO IN THE DIRECTION YOU AIM THEM. IF YOU ARE A MID TO HIGH HANDICAPPER AND WANT AN EASY IRON TO HIT. THIS IS THE CLUB FOR YOU.
Cons: LONG IRONS ARE VERY DIIFICULT TO GET DISTANCE AND ACCURACY WITH. I HAVE PLAYED BOTH FORGED CAVITY BACK AND INVESTMENT CAVITY BACK IRONS FROM TITLEIST. NO COMPARISON AS TO THE TITLEIST BRAND OF IRONS. THE OFFSET SET UP OF THESE CLUBS WILL BE DIFFICULT TO GET USED TO.
Quality: PING MAKES A GREAT CLUB. THEIR QUALITY REALLY SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. I AM GOING TO GO BACK TO BLADES AND TRY THE S59 IRONS THAT THEY MAKE. THATS WHAT IM USED TO PLAYING ANYWAY.

Review Summary: HIT A DEMO SET BEFORE YOU INVEST IN BUYING THESE. THEY MAY BE PERFECT FOR YOUR GAME AND THEM THEY MAY BE JUST THE OPPOSITE. YOU BE THE JUDGE.
