Purchase: Bought on ebay used 3-sand for 375 plus freight Pros: Very forgiving irons. They set up very traditional for an o-size. My distance is normal for these irons. 150 yds for my 7 iron. I like the grips also, not as abrasive as some cord grips. My misses are usually still something I can use, not total losses. Cons: I don't get much feed back with these clubs. I almost bought my first set of cavity backed forged, but could not settle on a set. Quality: Normal first rate Ping quality. Review Summary: If you are looking for a very predictable forgiving iron, give these a try. Don't expect much feed back. Unless you scull one, the misses don't feel much different than the ones hit in the sweet spot.

Purchase: Ping has great reputation and I wanted a set of clubs that I could own for years. I also picked these clubs up for a steal at $600 at my local pro shop. Pros: Cons: playability, look, feel Quality: Review Summary: Great clubs, pick yourself up a set. On 2002-09-17, dj rated this Ping I3 O-size a 4...(572)
Purchase: Pro Shop, $800 Pros: These clubs are very forgiving. They also put alot of spin on the ball, even from the ruff. Can easily shape shots. Cons: Weak on feel. Quality: These are well made clubs. Review Summary: Solid clubs, good for all skill levels, but I recently purchased some Mizuno MP-33's and these clubs do not compare for feel. Purchase: I have been a PING loyalist for many years. For a while I was hitting the ISI O-size clubs, much to my dismay, they were not as forgiving as my PING Zings. After about 3 months of price comparison and low-balling every dealer, I found my set of PING i3's at Carl's Golfland in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan for $650.00, and that was the best I could do, trust me. Pros: The i3 O-size gives me back the accuracy and forgiveness which my PING ISI's took away. Steel Shafted and dynamically fit, these clubs actually gave me more confidence on the course and hopefully will take some strokes off the game. For a high-handicapper like me (and most of you) there is no sense in wasting time and money on "custom" clubs, if you can't even swing right. PING's color codes got me to a perfect fit, without tayloring to my so-so swing. GREAT CHOICE! Cons: The slippery color-coded grips aren't much fun when your hands get sweaty, so I switched to the original PING Tour Wraps. No extra cost thanks to the guys at Carl's Golfland. Quality: Perfection. Every set that comes from PING is custom built. The set you see on the rack, the ones with the black dot. Those were oredered club head, shaft and grips, all specified during the order. Review Summary: PING's logo: "Play Your Best." Is not just some clever marketing scheme, its a true testament. How many other club manufacturers give you these many options and still price competitively? Try them, you'll like them. I did.
