Purchase: Purchased through a local pro shop. price was $589.00. Set customized 4-gap wedge.
Pros: very forgiving. Distance is average.
high launch. Cons: not enough feel/ or softness. Quality: excellent quality, cavity back, cast iron. Review Summary: Overall, very satisfied with irons. Played Bif Bertha's before, but like my i3 oversize better. can form more shots. distance is about the same. would not change, unless I go a forged muscle back for better feel.

Purchase: I bought my set (3-PW, SW & LW) in May 2002 at Powerline Golf, Woodbridge,VA for $1,064 plus $50 for Winn grips. Pros: Most forgiving clubs ever used. You can tell when you have not made good contact with the ball, although, the end result is still very acceptable. With my prior set (knock-offs) I had only broken 90 once. Since playing with fitted i3 clubs I have score 83, 89, 85, 93 & 89. Cons: Nothing, but I have gained significantly more distance (10-15 yrds/club) with these irons and I have not been able to clearly identify my range with each club yet. Quality: Blue dot, graphite shaft, stiff flex with Winn grips. Review Summary: The purchase of these FITTED clubs has been the closest move I have ever made to purchasing a swing. Purchase: I acquired these last summer at a local pro shop. I paid 640 dollars for the complete set of
3-PW. I felt that I needed to be sized up being that I am 6'5" tall and weigh 240 pounds. Pros: I think the Ping fitting system is the way to go. I got the Silver Dot (+4) Irons after all the different tests were
done. I love the feel of the clubs. I went from a 24 handicap to a 16 and it is still dropping. I credit these clubs
with the change. The thin line look at setup is appealing to the eye. I hit these clubs high and straight and wish that
all my woods were like them. I would definitely be a lot lower handicap. Cons: The standard ping grips are horrid. I used them for about 5 rounds or so and said these are the pits.
I changed them to Lampkin Jumbos and now hit these clubs better than ever. Quality: It's Ping, you get what you pay for. Review Summary: A local club pro told me once that if you are going to buy something, buy something good. His reasoning
behind this was interesting. If you buy golf equipment for cheap, then you're always thinking "what if" I had something
decent. If you hit a bad shot with good equipment, then you have nothing to blame but yourself. If I was doing it all over
again, I would spend the extra money and get good equipment. That's how you get better.
