Details: The clubs are 4-9 PW,SW,LW. The clubs are standard length. With a standard stiff flex steel shaft. The grips are colorcoded white, which means there standard thickness.
Purchase: I acquired these irons through a local pro shop called Austads. The reason why a purchased these irons, is just that I tried every iron I could and these felt and performed the best for me. These irons where not cheap though i spent $750 for them. Pros: I really like these irons. There good looking, but not distracting. They have a consistent feel to them. Not as forgiving as the G5, but they'll give them a run for the money. I like the fact that the i5s have a reduced offset makeing them more reliable. Definitly for intermediate players. The perks of getting these irons is that they are not replaced by a newer iron every year. They hold there value.
Plus with there color coded system it makes custom fitting much easier and affective.
And what else could expect from PING. Cons: The mid-size head is hard to get used to after using over-sized irons. These clubs are very expensive, but in my opionion well worth the money. Make sure you get them custom fitted to you. If your wondering why my peronal irons are standard everything is because I am a standard size person. Quality: The construction on this thing is incredible. I could not find a flaw in the construction of this top of the market, high quality iron. I think PING should change ther name to KING PING. Review Summary: The bottom line is that a more expensive club will be one heck of a club. But if you get more improvement out of a cheaper club do it. So if your going to get the PING i5, or any club for that matter, get them custom fitted to you. Don't let any salesman try and get you to by one right off the rack. Because hey if your going to buy $750 on a club get the most out of them.

Purchase: Carl's Golfland in MI Pros: Absolutely the best irons I've hit to date. Although I just started the game, I've went through 3 sets of irons (Taylor Made RAC OS, Ping G2 and now Ping i5). The other clubs were fine, however, the i5's have made a dramatic improvement in my game. The Midsize head is to my liking and they're suprisingly easy to hit (not as easy as the G2 but still very easy). Cons: Nothing Quality: A total quality product with Ping Review Summary: I would reccomend these to golfers of all skill levels.
