Purchase: I paid $85 for the 34" C-67 orange dot at Van's as an experiment versus my Ping Anser 4. The Anser at times felt light expecially on the thick Bermuda greens here in Phoenix. I had a tendancy to leave to many short and felt I had to really whack it longer puts.
Pros: The C-67 is in Ping's new G2 line. It has a subsantially heavier feel and hence the momentum carries the putter head through the ball. The extra weight creates its own pendulium effect and a smoother stroke for me. I also like the centered shaft as it meets the putter head. I have played it about three months and my puts are now getting to the hole consistantly.
Cons: My only improvement suggestion would be to add an alignment mark on the top line. This is a personal preference and I am getting used to it.
Quality: Quality, performance, fitting, price and service has made me a Ping player over the last 4 years. No other manufacturer provides the options and value as Ping. By comparison, I ordered my father a 34" lefty Scotty Cameron. It took 10 weeks to be delivered, no fitting was offered and costs three times as much as my Ping. My Ping was fitted and in stock and I took it home that day. Yes, putter fitting is importantt. If you want to pay the extra to have Titleist on your clubs go for it. If you want performance get fitted with Ping.

Review Summary: Ping products are designed so the average golfer can get fitted and find instant game improvment. I didn't believe it until I bought my first TISI Driver 4 years ago. Now I carry a full bag of Ping products. Unless you are a single digit handicap (I'm a 12.5 index) and can play a forged blade, go get fitted for Ping. Your game won't regret it.
