Purchase: Bought this putter off ebay for about $100
Pros: This is 1 great putter. I've always liked blade style putters but I've never had a great putting stroke. This putter is forgiving and has tremendous feel. I can get away with an occasional bad stroke without definitely 3 putting. When I'm on with this putter, watch out! The Tess has a very stable putterhead and has a heavier head as well which accounts for the great feel.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is I wish it was 1 or 2 degrees flatter which can be order from Ping. Also its a bit long wich can be remedied by a club fitter.
Quality: Pretty basic blade-style putter with a cavity in the putter head. Well designed with a great Ping grip. This putter is head heavy. Review Summary: Bottom line is, this brings blade style putting to the masses. Great feel as well as forgiveness. Can get away with mis-hitting a few putts without a tremendous loss of distance. Great look, feel and a touch of forgiveness.

Pros: This is the best putter one can find for those who like the classic blade style. The cavity in the back of the putter head allows for heel-toe weighting not found on other blades. Also, the heavier head makes it easier to follow through with the putting stroke. It is easy and comfortable to line up, even though there are no sight aides, well balanced and very comfortable in the hands. The feel is solid yet soft and this putter, like some of the best of the classic blades, is extremely accurate.
This is a simple but elegant putter that performs wonderfully well in my opinion.
Cons: Nothing.

Purchase: THIS PUTTER REMINDED ME OF MY YOUNGER DAYS OF PLAYING GOLF IN HIGH SCHOOL, AND I DO MEAN YOUNGER. I PAID AROUND $90.00 DOLLARS AND HAD IT ORDERED TO MY SPECS. SOMETIMES THE BEST PUTTERS ARE NOT ALWAYS SO EXPENSIVE. I BOUGHT THIS AT A GOLF DISCOUNT STORE.
Pros: I OREDERED THE FINGERLOCK GRIP WHICH IS A LITTLE LARGER THAN THE WINN GRIPS. THE HEADCOVER IS FLAT AND FITS IN YOUR BACK POCKET. I HAVENT USED ONE OF THESE STYLE OF PUTTERS IN AGES. I WONDERED IF I COULD STILL USE THEM. ALAS TO MY SURPRISE. I HAVE SUNK MORE PUTTS WITH THIS PUTTER THAN I DID WITH MY SCOTTY CAMERON THAT COSTS ALOT MORE. WHO SAID DYNAMITE COMES IN SMALL PACKAGES. THEY WERE RIGHT.
Cons: NOTHING TO DISLIKE. IT PUTTS TRUE TO LINE AND HAS A NICE SOFT FEEL. HOW COULD I NOT LIKE IT. WHEN YOU HAVE WENT THROUGH AS MANY PUTTERS AS I HAVE, IT'S NICE TO FIND ONE THAT DOES WHAT YOU WANT IT TO. SINK MORE PUTTS. BEING ON THE GREEN IS NICE, BUT NOT FOREVER. LET THE OTHERS PEOPLE YOU'RE PLAYING WITH SPEND MORE TIME THERE.
Quality: PING QUALITY. WHAT ELSE CAN YOU SAY. THEY ARE SECOND TO NONE WHEN IT COMES TO FITTING YOU FOR THE COURSE. I DONT THINK IAN MC CALISTER SHOULD WORRY ABOUT THE NXT BALL. HE SHOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT PING. DEMO ONE AT THE GOLF COURSE AND YOU WILL NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE IMMEDIATELY. PUT YOUR PUTTER TO THE TEST AGAINST IT. THE RESULTS WILL SHOCK YOU. Review Summary: WHEN CHOOSING A PUTTER MOST OF US AND YES ME GO FOR LOOKS AND PRESTIGE TO HAVE THAT CLUB IN THE BAG. WOULD YOU STEP OVER A DOLLAR TO PICK UP A DIME. TRY IT OUT AND SEE THAT YOUR TIME ON THE GREEN WILL BE CUT IN HALF.
