Details: The latest generation of Ping putters and takes putters a step beyond the long-standing leaders in putter production. The latest twist from Arizona is moveable weights, the same basic technology that has become a real player in drivers and fairway metals.

Purchase: Unlike those classic Ping Anser putters which sold for as little as $20 way back when, these are pricey, retailing for $169. A separate weight and tool set sells for about 1/3 of the cost of the putter.
Pros: The moveable weight technology is great for the tinkerers among us. If you’re one of those guys who enjoys changing, adjusting and suiting certain clubs to certain conditions, the ability to make your putter heaving for slower greens and lighter for faster ones, this is for you.
Cons: How much is that adjustability worth to the average player who’s going to three-putt a bunch of greens regardless of what he’s putting with? Price is a factor.
Quality: It has the Ping name and that answers all questions about quality.

Review Summary: Ping has found a way to allow changeable weights to be installed in the sole of six different styles of their putters. Another great step for technology in the grand old game of golf. Don’t be surprised to see other companies follow suit soon.
