Purchase: I acquired this unit off of ebay after reading the reviews from Golf magazines hot list. I paid $175.00+ shipping.
Pros: Well first of all this is a very eye catching club. It looks great with the Grafalloy Prolauch blue shaft. I like the feel of the club as well as any I've hit. Sure feels better than the old 3 iron laying in my garage now. It's really like cheating because when you're over 200 out your not supposed to get the kind of stopping power this club delivers. It's super accurate with tremendous carry.
Cons: $$$$$$$$$$$$$ but hey it's a Ping and you get what you pay for.. After hitting the par 5s in 2 it won't hurt quite as bad.
Quality: Excellent...

Review Summary: With off center hits, the ball still flies relatively straight and the loss in distance is minimal compared to a 3 iron. I remember the par 5s I could reach in the old days, but couldnt carry over the trees unless I used a club that would leave me short of the green. Now I can carry over obstacles and still hit the green from 200-220 out. I've got a go to club on the long par 3s that I can swing full at. If you need help with your swing, I can recommend a book as well I received from my wife for Christmas, called Amazing Golf. Since this short period of time, I've dropped my handicap from a 8 to a 3.
