Purchase: I have a neighbor who came within one stroke of qualifying for the U.S. Open. When he talks golf, I listen. He said 'for winter play (in Northern California) buy a ball made for the ladies. They are softer and easier to hit when it is cold outside (40s and 50s).' In November 2006 I picked up a dozen on sale for $7.99 at Wide World of Golf and Tennis. I saw them later for $7.50 at Sports Authority.
Pros: They definitely play long and soft in cold weather. I tend to outdrive my buddies all day long with these balls. Nice feel on the greens too. They hold up well. I can play two rounds on a ball before it gets scuffed enough that I don't want to play it anymore. At 65 cents a ball when bought on sale, they are easy to throw into the shag bag when I'm ready to play a new ball. And if I happen to hit one out of bounds, no great loss.
Cons: The word 'Lady' on the ball, but results talk louder than my male ego. As I outdrive my buddies and hit nicely controlled shots, I could care less what it says on the ball.
Quality:

Review Summary: Probably one of the best values for your money in golf balls. If you like playing a softer ball (when it's warm outside (Titleist DT SoLo, Dunlop LoCo, Srixon Soft Feel, etc), you'll like these balls in cold weather and you'll save money too.

Purchase: $9.98 per dozen at Dick's Sporting Goods Golf-a-thon spring golf sale. They were selling them two for one essentially. Excellent deal for a great ball. My wife actually picked these out as she was going to take up golf for the first time and figured anything with the word lady on it would work for her. I had heard tons of good reviews about this ball though, so I stole sleeve of golf balls from her to go try them out for myself.
Pros: Wow. Soft and long. The rumors were right. Interestingly, you don't seem to be able to find a ball that does so well in several categories. The spin was just right for my game as well. I haven't perfected approach shots around the green so I don't need a ball with lots of spin, but this one just fit my game right. Tee shots also benefit. If you've got a little banana ball going sometimes, the middle of the road spin qualities of this ball should help you. If you have a bad slice, though, it may not be for you.
Cons: Slight scuffing due to the softer nature of this ball. The average golfer should still be able to get away with a few rounds though. Unless you tend to lose them once in a while like myself.
Quality: Nothing to complain about here. The scuffing is to be expected with balls of this type so I really don't count that as a manufacturing flaw. Ball holds up well under adverse conditions.

Review Summary: Overall, I love it! I actually might buy a dozen myself to make sure the sleeve I was playing with wasn't a fluke, haha. Still, decent price (at least $20 cheaper than Pro V1s in my experience) and great quality. What's there to complain about?

Purchase: Purchased online for $19.95/dozen from golf ball discount store.
Pros: This ball is as soft as any ball on the market, including the Pro V1. It is also longer than any ball I have ever used ( 12 handicap ). The feel around the green is alomost as good as the Pro V1-any difference is not noticable for 95 % of golfers. The ball does not "back-up" on wedge shots as musch as the Pro V1,but if hit correctly, stops on a dime. The price makes this ball the best bargain in golf.
Cons: I can find no flaws with this golf ball.
Quality: This ball lasts as long as any ball I have ever used.

Review Summary: Best bargain in golf

Purchase: Bought it in a used golf ball bin for $1.50 at a pro shop because i had never tried a precept before.
Pros: Goes Far, High, and is very accurate.
Cons: Nothing.
Quality: Very Good Quality, i have used it for about 45 holes so far and it still works great.

Review Summary: If you haven't already tried one, do, if you have go buy some more. It is quite possibly the best ball ever made.

Purchase: I actually found my first "Lady" in the bushes as I was playing a round this spring. What a find! After playing 2 full rounds with this ball, I immediately went out and bought a dozen. They have great soft feel as advertised, and they feel like they're popping off my driver like a super ball! Despite the hot nature of this ball, it is very accurate and putts true.
Pros: The soft feel. Explosive distance (300+ yard drives!!) True ball flight.
Cons: Nothing.
Quality: Top notch quality and durability.

Review Summary: Although you may feel kinda weird hitting a ball that says "Lady" on the cover in lipstick red lettering, you'll feel like a man from the dynamic distance you'll gain off the tee.

Purchase: HOW - Rec'd by the sales person. WHERE - ProGolf Discount store in San Diego, CA. WHY - needed good ball that sold for $20 per 12 (or less money).
Pros: Unusually soft off the tee for a 'distance' ball. Bites the greens pretty well. Good distance for moderate swing speed. Sold nationwide for $20 or less. Also available at recyclers for just $10 per 12.
Cons: Cover tends to scuff after 50 holes. Looses performance after 60 holes.
Quality: Soft cover - soft core - unique Precept patents (that is, MC = Muscle Core).

Review Summary: I was pleasantly surprised that a ball costing just $20 per dozen was almost a sgood as the industry leading ProV1. Best ball for the average golfer (80 percent of us).
