Details: Bought this set after realizing my new FX5 set didnt come with a SW or LW or a putter in fact. Out of the bo the set looks ice. Comes with the SW,LW,putter, and Hybrid. the hybrid has a 18 degree loft. The LW is 60 and SW is 56. Putter is like no other ive seen. with a crazy bicycle reflector thing on the face. The wedges all have some kind of nickel plating on them. They look REAL nice. Anyways, took the whole set out today for 9 holes, jsut to experiment. let me tell you the wedges are AWESOME! I had a real hard time hitting bad shots with them first time out. The LW is my favorite wedge in the bag now. The putter, even though it looks like something from a science fiction movie, is sweet.Great feel, great balance. Now heres the real suprise. I am not a fan of the hybrid after having one with the old Affinity clubs i had(i could not hit that thing), in fact i hated it. I left it in the truck all the time. This sucker here has changed my game. Easy to hit(if you swing it like an iron, and mate up to it like a FW wood, just a little bit forward of center.) and i crush this thing, and it feels great. I was hitting it 200+ yrds straight without nutting it and like i said, it feels sweet. Im sold on this set. If you can get it, do it(if youre as bad and broke as me anyways)
Purchase: I got this set after trying ebay for about 2 weeks, from overstock.com. for 62$. i bought it after getting the RAM FX5 set, and needed wedges to go with it, I like the RAM product, it suits me fine and for the price, its hard to get a better quality product if you ask me.
Pros: I love the wedges. Easy to hit, extremely forgiving. The putter is great too. good balance and good feel.
I really am in love though with the hybrid. I really have to try and hit a crappy shot, and when you do, its still a playable ball
Cons: I cant really think of anything. the grips feel good, but they may wear out(typical RAM soft rubber) but other than that, ive not been able to find anything i dont like about this set.
Quality: So far so good. Everything feels solid. the hybrid comes with a cover. the wedges have a crazy plating on them.
Review Summary: For 62$ this set is what mid-high handicappers need. you cannot beat the price and everything really works nice, and feels good. Easy to hit, forgiving, etc. i feel like i can lose 3-5 strokes off the game with this set. Icant say it enough, i enjoy swinging every one of these clubs and to me, thats what sells it.
