Purchase: I picked up some rip tips at my local golf shop in San Diego CA. They were $5.95 for a pack of 5. A buddy of mine had been using them for a couple weeks and was just killing the ball. He gave me one to try and after a couple drives I was a believer.
Pros: I have noticed that when using rip tips my ball has a different ball flight. I definately hit it longer with riptips but what I like the most is that my bad shots are much straighter. My slices end up being power fades and snap hooks end up being draws.
Cons: I have found that the top of tees vary in their width. Rip Tips will fit on any wooden tee but they work the best with tees that have smaller heads (like pride tees).
Quality: Rip Tips are pretty durable. I swing about 115 mph and the Rip Tips last me about three rounds a piece. They add about 5/8" in length to any tee you put them on.

Review Summary: I paid $600.00 for my driver. I use ProV1 balls that cost $4.00. All to hit it a little farther. I think I picked up more yards with the $1.20 Rip Tips than my $600.00 driver. Seriously!

Purchase: $11.90 for 10 Rip Tips at www.riptips.com.
Pros: I hit it about 10 yards longer. They look super cool with a ball on top. It looks like the ball is floating in mid air. You can tee them up to 4" in height
Cons: Nothing yet
Quality: They are bristle caps you could say that snap onto wooden tees. They have three sets of bristles and they add about 5/8" to every tee. I am still using the same Rip Tip so they last a pretty long time.

Review Summary: I have tried the brush-t but the rip tips are a totally different animal. they are easier to stick in the ground. They look better sitting on the tee. They produce longer drives and they are much cheaper than brush-t. check them out. you might never go back to wooden tees ever again.

Purchase: I purchased 10 Riptips (two packs of five) from www.riptips.com for $11.90
Pros: I like the fact that these are used with a wooden tee and they are not bulky like brusht. For some reason they look pleasing to my eye under the golf ball. What I really like is the added distance achieved (10-15 yards average).
Cons: I wish they were free.
Quality: No real problem in using. The bristles do wear out after a while (2-3 rounds). Other than that they are great!

Review Summary: Look. Try them for yourself. I will absolutely use them every tee shot.
