SVN Blades Golf Irons - Reviews

Purchase: Demo set that i used for about a week (6 rounds). Local club-fitter let me take them out for a while, I wanted to see how a could hit blades and if it were worth getting a set.
Pros: The major bonus about these blades is when I hit it on the sweet spot it felt like butter, flew about 5 yards longer than my cavity backs and checked up very feel on the greens. They have a beautiful appearance with a very thin top line and no offset. Also with a good hit they would turn the ball into a pin-seeking missile. not to mention the workability of these blades was awesome to say the least.
Cons: When shots were miss-hit it felt like I was hitting onto a block of concrete and the ball would carry about 100 yards with a very low trajectory before diving to the ground.
Quality: The quality of the clubs were phenominal (especially for a component iron). I truly did not believe a cast blade could feel that good.

Review Summary: I shoot in the mid 80's and these clubs are still hard for me to hit. Unless your a single-digit handicap or hit it on the middle of the face time after time i suggest staying with cavity backs.
