Purchase: Paid $140 for a demo putter on Ebay, plus another $25 for the headcover/divot tool. I had tried a number of putters at the local golf shop, and this one just felt so good.
Pros: The balance of the Laguna 2.5 is different, because it feels very toe-weighted. It has taken some time to get used to the feel and balance, and at first, I thought I had made a mistake in foregoing my Odyssey putter. After a few rounds, however, I started to realize why Scotty is the putter-meister to the pros - good hits go exactly where you aim them, with excellent feedback and a solid "ping". Even mishits aren't too far off the mark. My distance control has improved dramatically with the Laguna 2.5, as it is remarkably consistent.
Cons: The price. The original price is $299, and even with a $100+ discount via Ebay, a Scotty Cameron putter is hard to justify. I just don't tell my wife exactly what I paid!
Quality: This is the highest quality golf club I have ever purchased - it is truly a work of art.

Review Summary: The Studio Stainless Laguna 2.5 is not for everybody - it is more toe weighted than the Newport or the Newport Beach, for instance, so try before you buy. For me, however, it is the last putter I will ever buy.
