Purchase: Head and shafts were purchased from Golfsmith for Heads $12.95, Shafts $28.50 or all told $43.00 per club. I am a part-time clubmaker (GCA) so I put them together myself. I purchased these after building a set for a customer and witnessed his improvement.
Pros: The Snake Eyes Python is a nice looking head with a thin sight line and wide sole. This head is very forgiving and if you have an issue with getting the ball up this is the club to hit. Even the poor hits aren't to bad. I played to a soft 12 hdcp and since changing from an OEM club to the Pythons I'm a strong 10. I've improved enough that the guys I normally hit with have made comments and lost a few bucks to me as well. I married these head with the HTD CW95S shaft and just couldn't be happier. Quality of the product is outstanding. I understand that the GB mag Today's Golfer has tested these irons head to head with all new OEM's and it got a great write up.
Cons: The fact that two of my friends are having a set built who are better golfers then I am and I've lost my advantage.
Quality: I can't say enough good about the finishing of the heads and helpful staff at Golfsmith. I'd match these heads againist anyone's in the industry. I guess the workability might be a little more playable but for the vast majority of glofers this wouldn't be an issue. However that said they still are a fairly workable head.

Review Summary: For my money these are the best value in golf for the dollar. For the mid to high handicapper these are the "Ones" to hit. I have put sets together for customers with both graphite and steel shafts and no one has been disappointed.
