Details: I use the 18,22,26.Ordered from Golfsmith each head cost 25$.I had them shafted with rifle 4.5 steel shafts.Finding the right shaft was tough.I had to try a couple of different shafts before settling.But it was more than worth it.

Purchase: I found my first Quick Srike 18 degree in a golf shop in Kansas City.Paid 50$ for it.Could not hit it at all.Had it reshafted,still no good.Finally tried a rifle 4.5 and it became my favorite club,just like that.Bought the 22,and 26 after took to my clubfitter and matched the 18.All three clubs swing the same,replaced my 3,4,5 irons moved to the back tees and my handicap dropped.I kid you not.
Pros: The most versatile club in the bag.Rough,fairway,chip shots close to the fringe,and best of all fairway bunkers.They are so forgiving its like cheating,thin hits ,toe hits,hardly matters.You can play low boring shots into the wind,or high soft cuts into hard greens.You can literally hit em anywhere on the face.
Cons: Tricky to find the right shaft,untill you do,you simply cannot get the full benifit of these clubs.
Quality: The paint chips a little,use a head cover.Bit the heads are indestructible.Have used the 18 degree for 10 years,The face looks almost new.

Review Summary: Vastly superior to long irons(any).Better than fairway woods.If you dont have a utility club get one.You'll end up with 2 or 3.These snake eyes are cheaper than oems,and frankly considerably better.Everyone in my regular foursome made fun of me when I showed up with my first snake eye,as i had some trouble getting the right shaft.Now they all have at least 2 of their own!
