On 2002-07-06, John Marvin Cruz rated this Snake Eyes Quickstrike 22 Degrees a 5...(237)

Purchase: I got this from our local custom clubmaker- Golf Plus for 90 dollars. The club was custombuilt for me using a Paragon Low-torgque shaft and Golf Pride Velvet Touch Lite grip.
Pros: This utility club is a great club. I started playing two years ago and was learning how to play the game. I initially had a hard time hitting my woods and long irons. Could not get if airborne consistently. With the Snake Eyes QS 22" I was able to hit my tee shots and shots from the rough fairly well and improved my handicap fairly well. The club is just easy to hit, make a decent swing and the ball gets airborne pretty quickly, I get about 180 yards with this club and is great for a long approach shot to the green. It also works great as a chipper from off the green. Everyone I play with always notices that I use this club a lot in a round and tries it hit it and everyone withour exception likes the club. In fact my best buddy liked it so much that he went out bought himself his own club! He even has it shafted with the Snake Eyes Quickstrike logo Shaft.
Cons: Nothing! This club is perfect for me. Would not change it with any other club!
Quality: Club is very well made, only problem is the tendency of the paint to wear of earlier than other clubs, this was probably due to my swing problems earlier when I was just trying to learn how to play the game. Isn't golf great or what!

Review Summary: All in all, this is a great utility club, you can use it in the rough, hit it off the tee for short par 4s, and if you especially want to keep it in the fairway, great approach club for long par 5s, and a dependable chipper to boot. Whats' not to like! Compard with OEM brand utility clubs, you get a great club for a great price!
